Einar Baldvin was born in Iceland. In 2005 he moved to the United States to study at CalArts. Later he enrolled at the USC School of Cinematic Arts where he created an experimental hand drawn film "Baboon", selected in various festivals. A few years later, his directed "The Pride of Strathmoor" whose crows still resonate in my head.
He co-founded GLAS Animation with Jeanette Bonds, then released his first book ‘The Crawling King’ and worked on commercials for famous brands, including Apple, James Franco, Starburn industries as well as Marvel.
